New Year’s Day 2013

The next door neighbors gave us some fruit which included a pineapple. So, Helene gave me a recipe for duck breast with pineapple chutney. I couldn’t find just a duck breast so bought a whole five pound duck. Then I found a great recipe at The Hungry Mouse. It was really great and did have the nice crispy skin! Thanks Jessie! I also made Creole-style black-eyed peas with brown rice for New Year’s good luck. Helene and Rae liked it! Here are the pics!
